Revitalizing Resilience: Redefining Restoration and Rebuilding for a Stronger Future

Key Image

This project aims to showcase innovative restoration principles using Speedstac modules and insulated Kingspan metal panels for housing that has been damaged by shelling. It focuses on a specific building (Building B) in the Northern Saltivka district of Kharkiv, serving as a prime example. Additionally, the project addresses the sensitive issue in Ukraine regarding the potential demolition of panel buildings and subsequent construction of high-rise residential complexes in their place.

By considering the broader economic realities resulting from the war, the project recognizes that architecture must adapt and respond accordingly. It seeks to not only rebuild cities but also contribute to the revitalization of the economy.
