DESIGN RESEARCH
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
In 2022, WZMH and sparkbird initiated this financial incentive program for architecture students in Ukraine. What started out as an internship for two students from Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and two students from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, has now culminated into a continual collaboration with Ukrainian universities that have produced over 200 research projects. Students, professors and WZMH team members continue to meet regularly to discuss/critique their work, while further support is offered from Toronto-based and Ukrainian firms.
RECLAIM & HONOR
This exclusive artwork emerges from a collaboration with WZMH Architects, transforming recycled building material samples into a canvas of resilience and hope. Each artwork is a singular expression of support, meitculously hand-painted to ensure no two pieces are alike.
Each piece is not just art; it’s a symbol of freedom, resilience, and the collective effort to rebuild and honor Ukraine.

UNLEASHED IMAGNATION
Open to students across Ukraine, our Unleashed Imagination workshops offer a platform to present ideas on innovation, wellness, and sustainability, all aimed at rebuilding Ukraine. Broadcast virtually, the initiative connects global participants, fostering worldwide impact. Each presenting group is recognized with donations to support Ukrainian innovation, especially in areas critical for national recovery. Let's innovate and rebuild Ukraine together.
